Action mechanism and therapeutic effect of the medication:
Amoxicillin is a broad spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic with bactericidal properties. Bactericidal effect of the medication is associated with inhibiting the enzyme called transpeptidase and carboxypeptidase causing the disorder in the osmotic balance. This is ultimately fatal for the bacteria. Amoxicillin is effective against gram positive and gram negative bacteria.

Amoxicillin is approved for the treatment of the infectious diseases caused by susceptible to the preparations microorganisms:
