Active Ingredients:

Tianeptine

Action mechanism and therapeutic effect of the medication:
Antidepressant. Stimulates serotonin reuptake with neurons in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus. Improves mood, reduces or eliminates retardation of movements, increases overall body tonus. Promotes elimination of somatic complaints (including ones of gastrointestinal nature) caused by anxiety and mood changes. Effective in treatment of major depression and depression in bipolar disorder with or without melancholia, of depressive disorders of neurotic or sub-psychotic level. Effectiveness was demonstrated in treatment of elderly patients with depression due to a excellent safety profile. Tianeptine is effective in treatment of depressive disorders in climacteric women. Results in a reduction of symptoms of anxiety and depression that accompany PTSD.

Stablon contradictions, precautions and warnings:

hypersensitivity
pediatric and adolescent patients
pregnancy, breastfeeding

Stablon side effects:
As with any other drug, side effects can occur with Tianeptine. However, it does not mean that everyone who takes the medicine will experience these adverse effects. In most cases the preparation is well tolerated. Stablon may cause the following side effects:

nervous system and sensory organs: dizziness, headache, insomnia, daytime sleepiness, decreased concentration, nightmares, asthenia, lipothymia, syncope, tremor
cardiovascular system and blood (hematopoiesis, hemostasis): tachycardia, arrhythmia, angina pectoris, retrosternal pain
respiratory system: breathing discomfort, respiratory difficulty, laryngeal spasm, sensation of lump in the throat
digestive tract: dry mouth, anorexia, pain in the epigastrium and abdomen, nausea, vomiting, constipation, wind
other: hot flash, flushing, pain syndrome (myalgia, pain in the lumbosacral part of the spine).
