Active Ingredients:

Sertraline

The commercial name of the medication may differ from the brand one. Generic Zoloft manufactured by Thaemo Pharma is available under commercial name Sate.

Action mechanism and therapeutic effect of the medication:
Zoloft is an antidepressant, a specific inhibitor of serotonin reuptake. Zoloft helps to amplify the effect of serotonin. Sertraline doesn't cause drug addiction, psychogogic, and cardiotoxic effect, does not alter the psychomotor activity.

Medical indications:

Depressive conditions (including with anxiety)
Prevention of initial or chronic episodes of depression
Obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder

Zoloft contraindications, precautions and warnings:

Hypersensitivity to any of the medication ingredients
Pregnancy, lactation
With caution: neurological disorders (including mental retardation), manic condition, epilepsy, liver and / or renal failure, weight loss, pediatric use

Zoloft side effects:
As with any other drug, side effects can occur with Sertraline. However, it does not mean that everyone who takes the medicine will experience these adverse effects. In most cases the preparation is well tolerated . Zoloft may cause the following side effects:
