Action mechanism and therapeutic effect of the medication:

Essentiale N forte belongs to a group of medicines called hepatoprotectors. The medication contains a mixture of essential phospholipids which are the main components of cellular wall or organelles of the liver.

Essential phospholipids normalize hepatic function and enzymatic activity of hepatocyes, decrease the level of metabolic costs by the liver, contributes to regeneration of liver cells, stabilizes physical-chemical properties of bile. Essentiale Forte also restores cellular structure and phospholipid-dependent enzymatic systems, retards the formation of conjunctive tissue in the liver.
