Accutane

Active Ingredients:

  • isotretinoin

Action mechanism and therapeutic effect of the medication: Accutane is a drug which expresses dermoprotective effect. The drug works by normalizing the terminal cell differentiation and slows the proliferation of epitheliums oil glands, the formation of detritus and promotes its evacuation. The drug decrease and facilitates the evacuation and formation of sebum.

Medical indications: The drug may be prescribed in treatment of the following diseases:

  • Acne vulgaris
  • Hidradenitis suppurativa in acne rosacea
  • Ichthyosis
  • Keratinization disorders

Other conditions if prescribed by your doctor.

Accutane contraindications, precautions and warnings: The drug must not be used in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparations
  • Liver or renal impairment
  • Hyperlipidemia
  • Disease of the rectal region
  • Pregnancy
  • Breastfeeding

The preparation should be used with caution in:
